It's NOT cool - it's not theirs.Our goal is to build a 12,000 square-foot building on our Minden campus that will serve to create allocated spaces for children, students and other specific needs. What IF ..."My dream is that the Children's Center be decorated in an irresistible, Disneyland-type environment, that would capture any child's imagination, and open his or her mind and heart to Christ""My dream is that the youth of CVC will have a heart to minister in a real way to their peers and draw them toward Christ - possibly in a coffee-shop style setting." "I'd love to see a recovery program for Middle School/High School Students (STEP for Students) so that we can impact the serious problem of alcohol and drug abuse among teenagers." KIDS WORLD - THE PLAN: Imagine themed rooms that are designed and decorated in an age-appropriate, inviting manner ... filled with plenty of surprises to make a child's eyes wide with wonder, giving them an interesting environment to learn about Jesus' love for each of them. In addition, we are looking to develop dedicated facilities for our Dayton campus, so that our children's programs in that community will be an inviting, safe and fun place to learn. STUDENTS - THE PLAN: We need a better "Student Commons" area at our Minden campus - a larger gathering place for students to study, receive mentoring or meet with group leaders. An additional building will include dedicated space for Student Ministry Leadership and since it will be used specifically for teens, the decor, lighting and equipment need to be state-of-the-art. At our Minden and Dayton campuses, CVC will become known as a place where students matter. We will develop facilities they will love to invite their friends to, so they can meet Christ in a relevant and personal way. |
